Probably a bit unfair, it actually flew very well provided the speed was kept in check. If flying speed was allowed to drop too far the resulting tip stall could be very dramatic and would certainly wake you up.

Retract is a personal thing , not practical nor necessary in a smaller model that you will probably hand launch anyway, if electrified.
